ChartCraft

Existing charting tools are technically capable and visually unfinished. ChartCraft is the opposite. Every default output is designed to look like it belongs in an Apple keynote or a Linear annual report. Not 'good for a chart tool.' Actually beautiful.

What it does
  1. Paste data, get a beautiful chart

Drop in a CSV or paste from a spreadsheet. ChartCraft reads the structure, picks the right chart type, and renders it with the default theme. No configuration required to get something worth sharing.

  2. Publication-quality output by default

The rendering engine is built around a single standard: output that looks like a graphic designer spent 10 days on it. Typography, spacing, color, animation. All designed before you touch a control.

  3. Export everywhere

PNG and SVG at 2x minimum. Animated video for social. Interactive embed for web. Every export format is treated as a first-class output, not an afterthought.

  4. Live data connectors

Connect GA4 or Stripe and pull live metrics directly into a chart. The chart updates when the data updates. No spreadsheet intermediary.

  5. Open-source charting engine

The underlying engine, @chartcraft/core, is MIT-licensed and built for use in any React app. D3 for math, custom Canvas + SVG dual renderer for output. The web app is the reference implementation.

  6. Themes with real taste

A set of curated themes covering editorial, technical, and brand-adjacent aesthetics. Each theme is a complete visual system: color, typography, grid, legend, animation. Not just a color palette swap.
